An agreement was signed today, May 5th, 2016, between the Central Buffalo Research Institute and Titanic Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd. Under this agreement, all information and technology for the area-specific mineral mixture developed by the institute have been leased to Titanic Pharmaceuticals for 10 years on a non-exclusive basis.

This area-specific mineral mixture is essential for the scientific diet management of buffaloes. Its regular use increases the quantity of milk in buffaloes and also helps prevent reproductive problems.

"This agreement will be very beneficial for the cattle raisers because this will make this area mineral mixture available to them in abundance."

Previously, the Central Buffalo Research Institute was producing it only for technology demonstration and to fulfill its own needs. In view of the increasing demand from cattle raisers and the inability of the institute to provide an adequate supply, this agreement was made in the interest of the farming community.

This partnership will allow for production at an industrial level, enabling animal husbandry to take full advantage of the technology. The agreement was signed by Director Dr. Inderjit Singh on behalf of the Central Buffalo Research Institute and Mr. Chandiram Rohil on behalf of Titanic Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd.

Present on this occasion were Chairman ANFT Dr. Balbir Singh Poonia, In-charge ITMU Dr. V. B. Dixit, Administrative Officer Mr. Chetan Issar, and Finance and Accounts Officer Shri Mahesh Kumar.
